In 2015, Spencer McMullen flipped over his bike's handlebars chasing down Tyler, The Creator in hopes of showing off his sketchbook. Fast forward five years, the now 21-year-old artist has been enlisted by Tyler, The Creator as part of Converse’s on-going Artist Series, putting a collaborative take on the iconic Chuck 70. The parchment upper acts as the canvas for McMullen’s art, where photo-realistic portraits, cartoonish drawings, and handwritten text are found printed across the upper. Each lateral and temporal side of the sneakers features a unique set of graphics, ranging from a man with a black eye, to an intimate haircut, and a boy dancing with his dog. The pair is then finished with its classic egret white midsole, gum outsole, and an extra set of pink laces.

Men’s sizes 7-12 (no 7.5/11.5) available; $120+ tax.
