As we approach the end of the year, we’re stoked to announce our first Winter drop, featuring two graphics built off of references to Edmonton lore.

Our first graphic, rendered by Vivian Han-Tat (@thrvht), pays homage to the mecha anime ‘Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans’. The final battle of season 1 (spoiler alert) sees Mikazuki August, piloting the Gundam Barbatos, defeat Ein Dalton and their EB-AX2 Graze mech in the heart of downtown Edmonton, with a cel from this finale emblazoned on the front of the tee.

Our second graphic, designed by Chris Provins (@provins.xyz), references a local incident from the year 1999, where a formation of crop circles was discovered by farm workers. Consisting of seven circles and extending to 190 feet long, the formation was said to have blocked out cell reception, even draining the phone’s battery. Was it a hoax? Have UFOs visited Edmonton? We’ll have to keep investigating this phenomenon…
