Ending 2022 with a bang, we’re stoked to present our final in-house project of the year. Consisting of three tee’s, our 23rd Anniversary capsule features artwork by close friends from around our city, including Chris Provins (@provins.xyz) for the Injury Tee, Vivian Han-Tat (@thrvht) for the Michiko 23 Tee, and Jayden Ndegeya (@thuggy222) for the Thuggy Logo Tee.

Our first tee, shown in white, looks to the medical field of orthopaedics for a tongue-in-cheek reference. Although unintentional, our shop shares its name with a common injury seen in orthopaedic medicine, known as FOOSH, an acronym standing for a "fall onto an outstretched hand." The front of the tee features this text laid out at the chest, while the back features a medical illustration of the Colles fracture, or the broken wrist that most commonly stems from a FOOSH injury, often a result of injury in high-impact sports like skateboarding & skiing.

The second tee, done up in chocolate brown, pays homage to an iconic Japanese anime series by the name of Michiko & Hatchin. In the third episode of the series, the character Hatchin loses her sneakers and Michiko steals an expensive pair to replace them. The front of the tee features a rendering done by Vivian of a cel taken from this episode, where Hatchin comes to the realization that her new shoes were stolen after finding them for sale in the display case of a local shop. The back of the tee features our logo, flipped to resemble the anime’s own Y2K logo. We’ve tried our best to avoid any spoilers, we suggest you give the series a watch if you haven’t already!

For our final tee, printed on a clear blue blank, we asked our close friend Jayden to take the Foosh logo and recreate it through his signature style. Placed front and center, the artwork features our logo drawn through the mind of thuggy222, surrounded by a handful of the characters and decorations that frequent his drawings.
