Originally making its debut during the 1990-91 season as MJ’s sixth signature silhouette, the AJ6 returns this weekend for its 30th anniversary with the release of the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Bordeaux”. Referencing the iconic AJ7 in the same colourway, this release features a nubuck upper in black with muted tones of ‘light graphite’ layered on top. The titular, wine-inspired shade helps to balance out the dark-toned upper, with the shade making its way onto the neoprene tongue and rear pull tab, while a brighter pop of orange is found at the lace lock. The release is then finished with a tonal embroidered ‘Jumpman’ logo at the heel, perforations at the midfoot that show off 3M reflective hits underneath, as well as the silhouettes iconic cut-out tongue executed in a colourful diamond pattern.
