Originally released in 1997 and worn by MJ during some of his most significant moments over that season’s title run, the Air Jordan 12 Retro “Playoff” returns to celebrate its 25th Anniversary for this weekend's drop! Staying true to its OG construction, the silhouette features a high-contrast upper, with a black tumbled leather at its base and white textured mudguards. Touches of ‘metallic silver’ come in at the eyestays, as well as at the midfoot’s debossed plastic overlays, while embroidered branding is found at the tongue with a ‘varsity red’ “Jumpman” logo at white “TWO 3” text. The anniversary release is then rounded off with a white midsole, black rope-style laces, and its classic embroidered heel tab at the rear.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro "Playoffs" releases today, March 19th, at 12 PM. This will be a first-come, first-served release that is limited to one pair per customer. The remaining pairs will available online at 5 PM.
