Paying homage to Will Smith’s moniker from the iconic ’90’s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Jordan Brand remixes the 2013 “Cool Grey” colourway this weekend with the releases of the Air Jordan 5 Retro “Bel-Air Alternate”. Swapping suede out for leather, the 2020 release features a crisp white leather upper, while the silhouettes midsole maintains its predecessors ‘court purple’ colouring. The midsole is then accented by speckled, teeth-like detailing in neon pink on the left shoe and royal blue on the right shoe. These bright, asymmetric accents continue onto the sneakers branding, with opposing ‘ghost green’ and ‘racer pink’ Jumpman logos found embroidered at the neoprene tongue and heel, as well at the ankles ’23’ branding. The silhouette is then finished with clear mesh windows at the midfoot, an icy blue and neon green outsole, as well as a haphazardly patterned tongue and collar lining with the same neon treatment noted above.

The Air Jordan 5 Retro “Bel-Air Alternate” releases through an Instagram-based raffle that starts today, August 13th, that ends Friday August 14th, at 4:00 PM MST. Check out Instagram (@fooshyeg) for more details.
